We invite you to join us for the opening reception for the National Library of Medicine’s traveling exhibit, “Care & Custody: Past Responses to Mental Health.”

Susan Griffith, Associate Hospital Administrator for Eastern State Hospital, will speak on the history of the Eastern Kentucky Lunatic Asylum, the second oldest psychiatric hospital in the United States.

The exhibit is open to the public and will be on display on the first floor of the Medical Center Library Feb. 9 – March 21.
