Have you always wanted to learn to code but never had the chance? This workshop series is your opportunity to get acquainted with the basics of R and learn how it can be used for data visualization, cleaning, and analysis. Sessions will provide guided instruction on key concepts, hands-on practice with real datasets (including survey data on Midwestern identity and over a century of Kentucky Derby results) and resources to continue your independent learning. No prior coding experience necessary.

• This series is composed of three sessions, with other sessions in this series taking place at the same time on Monday, September 14 and Wednesday, September 16. Please only sign up for the later sessions if you are able to attend the first one.
• You will need to bring your own laptop (Mac or Windows is fine) to participate in this workshop.
