Cannas - Gardener's Toolbox Class - Fayette County

Fayette County Extension Service
1140 Harry Sykes Way
Lexington, KY

Most gardeners are familiar with cannas. They can be valuable for their tropical foliage, ease of growth and long bloom season. In recent years breeders have sought to improve the offerings with compact plants, heavier flowering in brighter colors, and self-cleaning plants that drop spent blooms for a tidier appearance. We will cover Canna care, discuss numerous varieties and provide a few for you to grow. Cost: $15.00.

Sign up early for classes to avoid being turned away because class is full. ALL classes, including the “Free” ones are “PRE-REGISTRATION” only. If you need to cancel, you must do so 2 weeks prior to the class time to receive a refund or credit for a different class. If handouts and/or plants are not picked up 3 days after class, items will be donated. Click on the link below for registration form.
